I love being a mom, and one of the things that amuses me is the things that come out of my mouth.
Tonight at supper as Miss Pear's soup was in a bowl shaped like a heart this little gem came out of my mouth, "If you are going to drink your soup, be sure to drink from the pointy end."
Yup, definitely up for mom of the year....

When my children first started wearing deoderant, I would ask them every morning if they remembered to put it on.
One morning after asking them they started verifying it for each other and I found myself saying, "Stop smelling each other's armpits"...
Yeah, never thought I'd say THAT! :-)
