Getting Ready for St. Patrick's Day

I have learned something about my girls over the years, they like it if we make a big deal about something and make it fun. I have started thinking about St. Patrick's day next week, and realize that it will not take much to pull this off!

I am planning on making honey marmalade mustard glazed corned beef but will start with a plain beef brisket because the corned beef will likely be too strong a flavor for my girls! Side dishes will be Easy Cabbage Roll Casserole, Carrots, and maybe roasted sweet potatoes of some kind seeing as we cannot have regular potatoes around here!

I am also thinking about making a cake, and decorating it like this, but in white and green instead.

Plus I found some fun ideas here.

I have a couple other things up my sleeve too, but that is for another post when I can find my camera cord!

Do you have any plans for special St. Patrick's Day fun? I am definitely looking for ideas.

Plus I am thinking about finding a verse to mark the day, something about the spread of the Gospel. Any ideas?
